Our founding team spent years building an HR tech product before hitting the same wall every SaaS company eventually does: every new customer wanted a different integration, and building them one at a time was consuming the whole engineering team. That frustration became Knit. Instead of a point integration for every app, one Unified API that works across an entire category — HRIS, ATS, CRM, Accounting, and more — so your team integrates once and it works everywhere. We also noticed a bigger gap in the market: nearly every other integration platform stored customer data — expensive to secure, and a real risk for anyone handling sensitive information. So we built Knit around stateless data syncing from day one, processing data and passing it straight through instead of storing it. We had roughly a two-year head start on this approach before the rest of the unified API space started catching up, and we’ve been refining it ever since. Knit is backed by Endiya Partners and Axilor Ventures, and joined the 2025 India cohort of Google for Startups Accelerator: AI First. Today, Knit processes over 200 million API calls a month for customers building integrations at scale.
